Formatting Options
| Option Name | Function |

| Center Across Selection | Center Across Selection allows users the ability to highlight a range of cells and allow the text within the cells to be centered across that range. This is generally preferred over Merge Cells because it doesn't interfere with keyboard navigation around the Excel files. |
| Remove Dropdown | Removes a cell's dropdown and allows a user to enter any value. |
| Data Validation | Restricts the type of data or values that a user can enter in a cell, such as the dropdown options available within the Data Retrieval section of the Finsyte ribbon. Learn more at Microsoft Support (opens in new tab). |
| Format Painter | Apply formatting found in one cell or region to another. Also located on the Home ribbon. Learn more at Microsoft Support (opens in new tab) |
| Clear | Delete everything in the cell or remove the formatting, contents, comments, or hyperlinks specifically. Also located on the Home ribbon. |
| Border | Apply borders to cells. Also located on the Home ribbon. |

| Font Color | Change the color of your text. Also located on the Home ribbon. |
| Focus Cell | Highlights the column and row of the active cell you're working in. Also located on the View ribbon. |
