Period Range Definitions

Inside of many of the above functions is a parameter called "Period Range". This parameter helps define the start and end points of the periods that will be evaluated in order to return values. The available period ranges are defined below:

Period Range	Full Name	Definition
ITD	Inception to Date	Total activity since inception up to the period selected
YTD	Year to Date	Total activity for the fiscal year up to the period selected. YTD processes as ITD for any account tagged as Balance Sheet = T in the GL Account list.
RTD	Relative to Date	Total activity for the fiscal year up to the period selected. Unlike YTD, RTD input always starts at the first of the fiscal year.
QTD	Quarter to Date	Total activity for the quarter up to the period selected. Quarters are defined in NetSuite. Finsyte always uses teh first period in the qrater. To get full quarters, input the last period in the quarter in the function argument (ex: 3, 6, 9, 12 for standard calendar fiscal year).
PTD	Period to Date	Total activity for the period selected.
TTD	Trailing to Date	Total activity for the number of periods outlined in Preferences with the default being 12 periods.
